Notice Regarding Price Revisions Due to Rising Costs of Tungsten and Other Materials

Dear Valued Customer,

We hope this letter finds you well and thriving amidst the fresh greenery of the season. We sincerely appreciate your continued patronage and support.

As reported in the news, the tightening of export controls by Chinese authorities has caused a global surge in the price of tungsten, the primary raw material for cemented carbide. The price of APT—a key intermediate material for tungsten—has reached approximately eight times its previous level, creating an extremely challenging market environment.
In addition, rising procurement and logistics costs resulting from supply shortages have placed a significant financial burden on our company.
Given these circumstances, and much to our regret, we find it impossible to maintain our current pricing structure. Consequently, we are compelled to revise the prices of products containing tungsten.
While we have strived to streamline operations and reduce costs, the price increases have reached a level that cannot be absorbed through internal efforts alone. We humbly ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding the price revisions outlined below.

・Products Affected: All products containing tungsten (e.g., cemented carbide products)
・Effective Date: Orders placed on or after July 1, 2026
・Revision Details: Average price increase of 20% to 30% over current prices
(Please note: We request that you obtain a new price quote for repeat orders as well.)

We ask that you refrain from placing orders solely for the purpose of stockpiling inventory, as this impacts our raw material procurement and pricing management. Furthermore, as we strive to provide a stable supply at lower prices than our competitors for our existing customers, we do not accept "indirect orders" (orders placed through third parties to circumvent standard channels). We ask for your understanding and cooperation to ensure a smooth transaction.
