Cylindrical grinding is a processing method in which a workpiece rotating in the opposite direction is placed against a rotating grinding wheel to grind the outer surface, and is generally used when machining cylindrical workpieces. The finished dimensional accuracy is much higher than that achieved by lathe or milling machines.
